Nephrology & Dialysis
The department of Nephrology and Dialysis is headed by Dr Sameer Tawakley, who has more than 20 years of experience in the field.
We have a 24 Dialysis centre, manned round the clock by qualified and experienced staff and technicians. The Dialysis machines at our centre incorporate the latest advancements in Dialysis technology.
Our focus, however, is on early interventions, to try and ensure that patients with Diabetes or Hypertension, and/or those with acute kidney injuries or dysfunction, do not progress to chronic or end stage kidney disease. For this, our nephrologist works in close cooperation with our medicine consultants, to ensure that adequate, individualized medical regimens can be formulated for each patient. These regimens ensure preservation of Kidney function, while at the same time, enable adequate control of the patient’s metabolic disorders.
